Hi there! I have lots to share with you today, so let’s get started!
Have you guys met Marilyn yet?
Quite possibly one of the coolest chicks on the planet, Marilyn was kind enough to open her doors to us this month, and offer a first look inside her gorgeous home. She is one of the many reasons I love doing Cottage of the Month. I can’t tell you the thrill of being inside her home and spending hours photographing all of the beauty around each corner. Thank you Marilyn for your hospitality during my visit!
Here’s just a teaser look at of some pics from this month’s feature…

Without further ado, the winner is….Erin from Carolina Country Living. Congratulations Erin!
If I didn’t announce your name, no need to pout because I am hosting another Giveaway, right now! And there will not be one winner, but two winners!!
So let’s play a little game, shall we? I’m going to give you a clue about today’s Giveaway.
Okay, without scrolling down too fast, what do these 4 images have in common?
Yep, you guessed it! Black Chalk Board Paint!
To enter to win a can of Rust-Oleum’s Black Chalk Board Paint, simply do the following:

ReplyDeleteI would sure love to win this Jennifer! I just bought an old door this morning at an estate sale that I want to chalk board! Something people don't know about me? Well, I'm a vegetarian. Thanks for the give away! Marcia
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the pictures. What a beautiful home. I can't wait to dig deeper into those pics. Very inspiring! I'm on my way to bringing more cottage white into my home-its a process for me. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAshley @ Home: Inside and Out
Gorgeous photos! I am always inspired by your Cottage of the Month. Thanks for all your work in getting it out for us to view.
ReplyDeleteOne thing about me? That I can be a huge klutz, especially when it comes to simple makeovers. I recently broke the glass on a repainted and repurposed frame and just yesterday can't get the oval mirror back in my latest painted frame. So frustrating. I would love to win the chalkboard paint because that would fix both those mistakes. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Erin! What a beautiful home Marilyn lives in and I love the curb appeal and especially that car...it totally shows the house off ;) I would love a chance to win that paint..I've never tried anything like that before. Thanks for the chance to try! Have a great day..
ReplyDeleteMaura :)

I just painted an old frame and fake painting that I bought years ago for some reason and cannot stand now. It is completely white however I intend to paint the canvas area with chalkboard paint to make myself a little note board. I've wanted one for forever and soon I'll have one. I'm so excited. haha
ReplyDeleteThe one thing people do not know about me would be something I can never tell however something amusing would probably be that I'm not as secure as I come across in real life. For some reason people believe me to have it altogether and I am the total opposite. I'm a hot mess! tehe
Beautiful pictures of a lovely inviting home. One thing that most people don't know about me is that I lived in 9 homes that I can remember before I was 12. That is what I love about staying put now, our home becomes ours.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I would love to win that, that is if you mail things to Canada.
ReplyDeleteI love Cottage of the Month, they are all so inspiring and this one is no exception.

ReplyDelete:-)

Oh, and that I have an uncanny knack for getting colors to match spot on (like I can touch something up with my craft paint just by picking a little of this and that and mixing it up and when I try it on the piece, it will match PERFECTLY-honest!).

So, it's great to have this eye candy for future inspiration! Something most people don't know about me is that it took me 8 years to finish college because I worked and paid for it myself. Which is why I love your blog, you have a passion for texture, structure and longevity. Your blog rocks! Patty/BC

Oh, something most people don't know about me: my mom originally named me April (yes, I was born in April, but I know at least 2 girls with that name who were *not* born in April - WTH?!) but at the last minute she decided to go with Kimberly.
